Nepal, April 16 -- The World Economic Forum (WEF), based in Geneva, Switzerland, has selected Kathmandu Metropolitan City Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol for the Forum of Global Young Leaders 2025.

Out of 11 representatives chosen from South Asia, Dangol is the only one from Nepal. She previously served as a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Kathmandu Hub. Representing the government sector, Deputy Mayor Dangol joins a group of 116 young leaders under the age of 40 selected from 50 countries around the world.
