Nepal, Nov. 6 -- The high-level inquiry commission headed by former Special Court Chair Gauri Bahadur Karki has begun recording statements from police officers deployed during the Gen Z protests in early September.
The commission, formed by the interim government to investigate the violent protests of September 8 and 9, had earlier sought a detailed list of police personnel involved in crowd control operations and their specific actions during the unrest. After receiving the details, the panel started summoning officers for questioning.
