KATHMANDU, March 6 -- The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has declared its reluctance to immediately participate in the government.

The party stated that it will abstain from participating in the government unless the continuity of the current leadership of Madhesh Province government is ensured.

The party's executive meeting held today, which aimed to finalize the retention of the Chief Minister in Madhesh Province, faced challenges in reaching a consensus on whether the party should join the government. A majority of the executive members suggested to party Chairman Upendra Yadav against joining the government.
