Nepal, April 18 -- CPN (Unified Socialist) leader Ram Kumari Jhankri has urged protesting teachers to leave the streets and return to their schools.

Through her social media post today, Jhankri appealed teachers to resume their responsibilities in schools. She assured that the government is committed to enacting the new law and that the bill is currently under detailed discussions in the committee.

She explained that the discussions are taking time because the bill will pass with amendments. Once the committee approves the bill, it will then move to the House for further proceedings.
