Nepal, May 12 -- A man died and three others sustained severe injuries after a private jeep met with an accident in Sani Bheri Rural Municipality-10, Rukum West, on Monday afternoon.

According to Inspector Rishi Pathak, spokesperson at Rukum West District Police Office, the accident occurred near Amalatakuri on the Simli-Timile inner road section after the (Lu Pra 02001 Cha 0177) jeep reportedly suffered brake failure and plunged about 400 meters downhill.

Narbahadur Oli, 50, a local of Sani Bheri-10, died in the accident.
