Kathmandu, Nov. 7 -- Deputy General Secretary of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Janardan Sharma is set to visit the Election Commission (EC) to claim the party's name and its election symbol.

According to a leader close to Sharma, he decided to take this step after Pushpa Kamal Dahal attempted to dissolve the Maoist Centre. As the party's deputy general secretary, Sharma believes he has the legitimate authority to assert his claim over the name and symbol.
