KATHMANDU, March 31 -- Newly-appointed Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat has said that it will take the entire state mechanism to get out of the financial crisis. He expressed this opinion while assuming office after taking the oath of office and secrecy on Friday.

In a brief response to the media after assuming office, he claimed that he would leave no stone unturned to improve the troubled economy.

"It will take the entire state system to get out of the economic problem," he said, "We will leave no stone unturned to bail out the troubled economy."

He also said that the government will spend only by prioritizing the general expenses.
