Nepal, Oct. 6 -- Some recipients, however, expressed disappointment that the interim government had not acted as effectively as expected, noting that hundreds of injured protesters nationwide remain under treatment with limited attention from authorities.

The government has started issuing identification cards to those injured during the Gen Z movement on 8 and 9 September, along with Rs 20,000 in relief.

On Sunday, three injured protesters received their ID cards at the National Trauma Center. Speaking to journalists, Mukti Ram Rijal, Assistant Chief District Officer and spokesperson of the Kathmandu District Administration Office, said that so far, 56 injured individuals have been issued ID cards.
