Nepal, April 22 -- India's Minister for Power, Housing, and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar, arrived in Nepal this morning for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Nepal's Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Deepak Khadka.

This afternoon, Minister Khattar is scheduled to jointly inaugurate the 220 kV transmission line and the Tumlingtar (220/133/33 kV), Baneshwar (220/33 kV), and Basantpur (220/133/33 kV) substations in Sankhuwasabha district. The projects have been constructed with the assistance of the Government of India under the Koshi Corridor transmission line project.
