Indian Ambassador inaugurates Maternity Hospital in Siraha
KATHMANDU, April 10 -- Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri inaugurated India-supported Chandra Narayan Yadav Memorial Maternity Hospital in Siraha District on Wednesday.
The hospital is expected to provide access to maternity and health care services to the people of 50 VDCs in and around the Siraha District.
The hospital is being run by the Chandra Narayan Yadav Memorial Trust under the principle of no profit/no loss basis to quality maternal and child care.
The 25-bed hospital was constructed with the Indian grant assistance of NRs. 26.90 million, according to a press release issued by the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
