KATHMANDU, Nov. 20 -- India is exploring the possibility of an air bubble arrangement with Nepal for the operation of special international passenger flights between the two countries.

Under the air bubble arrangement, special international passenger flights can be operated by their airlines into each other's territories under restrictive conditions.

Nepal is likely to be a new entrant to the list of countries with which India has an air bubble agreement in South Asia.

At a media briefing on Thursday, India's External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said that his country is exploring the possibility of an air bubble arrangement with Nepal.

As of now, India has established air bubble agreements with 22 countries globall...
