Kathmandu, Oct. 17 -- India has raised serious concerns over Nepal's security system, citing the missing weapons looted from security forces and the unknown whereabouts of escaped criminals during the 'Gen Z Movement.' Expressing concern over Nepal's weak security management, Indian authorities called for stronger border surveillance and cooperation to prevent criminals from crossing into India.

On Wednesday, India summoned Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of the Armed Police Force (APF) from five Nepali provinces bordering Bihar for a meeting in Bihar. DIGs from Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces attended the meeting, which was organized at the invitation of India's Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
