KATHMANDU, Feb. 15 -- Namibia has defeated Nepal by four wickets in the opening match of the ICC CWC League 2 at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kathmandu on Thursday.

Namibia, winning the toss and opting to bowl first, restricted Nepal to a modest total of 132 runs in the initial innings.

During Nepal's innings, Sompal Kami and Lalit Rajbanshi took three and two wickets, respectively.

Captain Rohit Poudel claimed one wicket for the team.

Chasing the target of 133 runs, Namibia's JN Frylinck contributed 34 runs, while M Van Lingen and JN Loftie-Eaton added 23 and 31 runs, respectively.
