Kathmandu, July 28 -- Following stricter security checks and vigilance at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, human traffickers in Nepal have been found to have rerouted their operations to New Delhi, India, and Dubai in the UAE.

This came to light after 47 Nepali nationals, who were about to be flown abroad on visit visas from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in Delhi, were rescued and brought back to Kathmandu.

The Anti-Human Trafficking Control Bureau (AHTCB) of Nepal Police has placed 11 individuals under suspicion.
