Nepal, June 11 -- The scheduled meeting of the federal parliament has been postponed to 3:15 pm today. Originally set for 1 pm, the session could not convene as planned and was subsequently rescheduled.

The delay comes amid continued disagreement between ruling and opposition parties over the visa scandal. The opposition has demanded the formation of an investigation committee into the issue, while the ruling coalition remains unwilling to comply. Due to this deadlock, parliamentary proceedings have been stalled since May 28.
