KATHMANDU, Feb. 12 -- The government has said that there is no public holiday on February 13.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) in a statement on Monday stated that the holiday has been canceled although the government had previously declared a public holiday.

MoHA Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai stated that the public holiday scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled.

Earlier, the government calendar had listed February 13 as a holiday for People's War Day. However, the Supreme Court issued an interim order to the government, directing it not to observe a public holiday on the occasion of People's War Day.
