New Delhi, Aug. 3 -- Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has directed the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police to initiate a fresh and thorough investigation into the rape and murder case of Nirmala Panta of Bhimdatta Municipality, Kanchanpur.

During an inspection of the CIB office on Sunday, Minister Lekhak instructed the bureau to carry out a meticulous investigation and bring the perpetrators to justice. He emphasized that no effort should be spared in probing the Nirmala Panta case.
