Nepal, Feb. 3 -- Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has instructed officials to swiftly develop an integrated system to maintain a consolidated record of assets, finances and instruments seized, frozen or confiscated in criminal cases.

Issuing the directive in the course of monitoring the Department for Management of Proceeds of Crime (DMPC), Minister Aryal directed employees to maintain records based on information received from investigating agencies and court verdicts.

DMPC is mandated to manage properties seized or placed under control during criminal investigations. Minister Aryal stressed the effective use of technology to manage criminal assets received from multiple agencies systematically and transparently.
