Nepal, Jan. 4 -- Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal on Sunday held a joint meeting at the Ministry of Home Affairs with representatives of three different Muslim community groups, including a member of the National Assembly.
During the meeting, officials from the National Muslim Coordination Committee (NMCC) and representatives of the Federal Democratic Alliance (FDA) submitted memorandum outlining concerns facing the community. Receiving two separate memoranda, Minister Aryal reaffirmed the government's commitment to taking immediate action against anyone found undermining religious harmony or disrupting communal peace.
