Nepal, Sept. 29 -- Continuous rainfall, floods, and landslides have disrupted transportation in six locations across the country, leaving major highways blocked.

According to Nepal Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General Binod Ghimire, routes in Sankhuwasabha, Sindhupalchok, and Rasuwa districts remain obstructed as of 9 a.m. today.

In Sankhuwasabha, the Koshi Highway has been completely blocked at Barun in Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-4 and at Ekua in Makalu Rural Municipality-3 due to persistent rainfall. The road in Ekua has been closed for a prolonged period.
