Nepal, Aug. 7 -- The monsoon's low-pressure line currently lies to the north of its average position, hovering over Nepal's Terai region. Although monsoon conditions persist across the country, the influence of moisture-laden winds appears relatively weak, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).

This afternoon, mostly cloudy skies are expected over the hilly regions and areas of Koshi and Lumbini Provinces. In contrast, the rest of the country is expected to see partly cloudy conditions. Moderate showers are likely in the hilly and lowland areas of Koshi and Lumbini, with scattered rainfall possible in a few other provinces as well.
