Kathmandu, Oct. 13 -- The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has directed all hospitals and medical institutions to ensure that the minimum salaries and benefits of nurses and other health workers are not lower than those provided by the government.
According to MoHP Spokesperson Dr Prakash Budhathoki, a circular has been issued to all government hospitals, medical colleges, community and private hospitals to implement this provision. He said the directive was issued agai after receiving complaints that the earlier order had not been fully implemented in several institutions.
