KATHMANDU, July 11 -- The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed three more COVID-19 deaths in Nepal on Saturday.

At a virtual media briefing, spokesperson for the ministry Jageshwar Gautam said that 60-year-old male from Sankhamul of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, 45-year-old man from Gokarneswar Municipality and 45-year-old man from Sindhupalchowk who earlier tested positive for COVID-19 died in course of treatment.

With this, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has risen to 38 on Saturday.

According to him, only 70 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in the past 24 hours. "With this, Nepal's COVID-19 tally soared to 16,719 today," Gautam added.
