Nepal, June 11 -- The construction of the Gwarko flyover has reached its final phase. Although the project has faced significant delays beyond the scheduled deadline, the main structure has been completed. Currently, painting and blacktopping works are underway.

The flyover was initially expected to be completed and operational by mid-June (Jestha), but the new deadline has now been set for mid-July (Asar). As of now, blacktopping and painting have been completed on the Koteshwor side, while blacktopping is ongoing on the Satdobato side.

The flyover will have a total length of 455 meters with a ground clearance of 6 meters.
