KATHMANDU, Feb. 18 -- The government is set to sell development bonds worth Rs 10 billion again for the purpose of raising internal debt.
The Public Debt Management Office issued a notice on Tuesday regarding the sale of development bonds worth Rs 10 billion. The notice states that those who wish to purchase the bonds can bid until 3 pm on February 20.
The bonds can be purchased by banks and financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions, insurance companies, corporate bodies and Nepali citizens. The interest rate of the bonds will be determined through a bidding system.
