Nepal, June 4 -- The government has revealed that the Disaster Management Fund holds over Rs 4.65 billion in reserve.

Bandhu Prasad Bastola, Acting Executive Chief of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, said authorities have set aside the amount for use during disaster-related emergencies.

He reported that the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund holds Rs 1.89 billion, the Central Disaster Management Fund contains Rs 1.28 billion, and the Provincial Disaster Management Fund maintains Rs 794.1 million.
