Nepal, July 2 -- The Ministry of Urban Development has announced that the government will construct 200 suspension bridges across the country in the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26. The plan was unveiled during a press briefing on Wednesday, where officials outlined key infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing connectivity and urban development.

According to the ministry, in addition to new suspension bridges, the government will also repair 100 existing ones and construct 40 new motorable bridges, along with maintenance work on 30 others.
