Kathmandu, Oct. 20 -- The government has invited tenders for the import of 471,300 metric tons of chemical fertilizers for the current Fiscal Year (FY), out of the targeted total of 600,000 metric tons.

It has been said that necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth supply of fertilizers to farmers. The government has allocated a budget of Rs 28.82 billion for fertilizer imports.
