KATHMANDU, Jan. 20 -- The government is launching a one-door system in imports and exports to minimize hassles that traders are forced to undergo in the office procedures.

The soon-to-be introduced platform entitled 'Nepal National Single Window System' will integrate the Department of Customs (DoC) with various government agencies that work as oversight bodies of the government and private sectors associated with the foreign trade, according to the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

The MoF, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply and Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development will be the key stakeholders to implement the system. The system facilitates the coordinated paperless works among the concerned authorities to issue licenses t...
