Nepal, May 23 -- As part of his official trip campaign termed "Local Time Germany", German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier regularly travels to various regions of Germany to engage himself in direct dialogue with people all over the country.

According to the press statement released by the Office of the German President, on such a trip, recently, President Steinmeier visited Delitzsch, a town in the state of Saxony. On that occasion, the President conferred the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon, the highest civilian accolade, to Silke and Arne Drews on 22nd May 2025 for their continued voluntary work towards initiating and improving healthcare system in Nepal through their humanitarian organization Nepalmed.
