Nepal, Sept. 11 -- Gen Z activists have withdrawn from dialogue with the Nepal Army, accusing it of prioritizing medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai, a controversial figure in negotiations.

Despite all-day discussions on Thursday, Army Chief Ashok Raj Sigdel repeatedly insisted that Prasai be included as a stakeholder, prompting the youth activists to walk out.

The campaigners now say they will only engage directly with President Ram Chandra Paudel. "We were in talks as the army was coordinating, but they gave undue importance to unrelated individuals. Therefore, we concluded that discussions must be with the President," one activist said on condition of anonymity.
