NEPALGUNJ, May 25 -- Four new people in Banke have tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The swab samples of two males each from Rapti Sonari and Duduwa rural municipalities in the district tested positive for this virus at lab tests conducted at Rapti Academy of Health Sciences.

According to acting registrar of the academy, Kailash Prasad Dev, two males (aged 23 and 24) among 129 tested at Duduwa-2, Amritpurwa and other two males (aged 16 and 23) from Rapti Sonari-7 were diagnosed with this fatal disease.

Duduwa Rural Municipality has reported the first-ever case of COVID-19 infection, according to the chairman of the local unit, Narendra Kumar Chaudhary.
