Nepal, May 22 -- Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari is set to leave for China on a week-long visit to the northern neighbor on Saturday.

She is visiting China at the invitation of the International Department of the Chinese Communist Party of China. During the visit, she will meet with Chinese officials in Beijing.

The delegation accompanying her includes UML Secretary and Foreign Department Chief Raghubir Mahaseth, Industry Minister Damodar Bhandari, UML Permanent Committee Member Karna Bahadur Thapa, leaders Goma Devkota and Devi Bhatta, among others.
