Kathmandu, Dec. 7 -- The buying rate of the US dollar today stands at Rs 143.68, while the selling rate is Rs 144.28, according to the latest foreign exchange reference rates. The euro is being sold at Rs 168.04, and the pound sterling at Rs 192.35. The US dollar had reached a record high last week, and analysts expect the upward trend to continue this week as well. Meanwhile, the Australian dollar is being sold at Rs 95.69, the Canadian dollar at Rs 103.49, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 111.37.
