Nepal, Feb. 18 -- Minister for Foreign Affairs Bala Nanda Sharma met the newly elected Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Tarique Rahman, on Tuesday evening, extending warm congratulations and delivering a message from his Nepali counterpart Sushila Karki.
In her message, Karki congratulated Rahman on his election and emphasised Nepal's commitment to fostering mutual respect, partnership, and collaboration, aiming to further strengthen ties between the two nations for the benefit of people of both countries.
