Nepal, Sept. 22 -- Nepal Airlines resumed flights to Rara Airport on Monday after a gap of four months. The state-owned airline had previously been operating three flights a week until last Baisakh (mid-April).

Locals of Mugu said the regular flights had been a relief, but the suspension had created difficulties for both tourists visiting Rara Lake-Nepal's largest lake-and other travelers.

Nabin Kumar Bista, head of Nepal Airlines' Rara Airport office, said flights have now resumed and efforts will be made to ensure regular services.
