Nepal, June 28 -- Flights at Suketar Airport in Taplejung district have been suspended for the past two weeks, with no flights operating since June 13.

Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) had resumed operations at the airport in the second week of April after a four-month hiatus. However, adverse weather conditions have once again disrupted services.

According to Narayan Kumar Karki, Station In-charge of NAC in Taplejung, four scheduled flights have been cancelled since June 15 due to poor visibility and persistent fog caused by the onset of the monsoon season.
