KATHMANDU, Nov. 1 -- Nepal Police has arrested a group of five persons involved in looting arms and ammunition possessed by security persons and subsequently selling them. The pistol and ammunition were looted from police personnel during the Gen Z protest.
Those arrested by the police are Krishna Gurung, 21, originally from Dhunibesi, Dhading; Rajan Deula, 25, from Bhagawanpau of Kathmandu-15; Akbar Khan, 24, originally from Motihari Sitamadhi of India; Shumin Shakya, 26, from Kathmandu-15; Prabhat Malla, 38, from Baneshwor, Kathmandu. They were held from different parts of the Kathmandu Valley, according to Pawan Kumar Bhattari, Spokesperson for the District Police Range, Kathmandu.
