Nepal, July 25 -- Police have arrested five individuals accused of defrauding job seekers by promising to send them abroad for foreign employment.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, the suspects took large amounts of money from several people under false promises of employment in countries such as Germany, Georgia, Greece and South Korea. After receiving the payments, they reportedly cut off contact with the victims.
