Nepal, March 10 -- Inspector General of Police (IGP) Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, along with five Additional Inspectors General (AIGs) and three Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs), will retire on April 2, 2025, marking the end of their 30-year careers in the police force.
Along with IGP Kunwar, other high-ranking officers of the organization who were recruited as police inspectors 30 years ago are also going on mandatory retirement due to the legal provision introduced in 2008.
