TAPLEJUNG, Nov. 22 -- The Pathibhara area, having a popular shrine in the district, has witnessed the first snowfall of this season. With light rains occurring on Friday afternoon, the snowfall began last night.
The snowfall caused cold, an employee at Pathibhara Area Development Committee, Rajendra Mahat, said, adding that the Committee has urged the pilgrims to maintain alertness to fend off cold.
It has, however, not significantly impacted the visitors in the Pathibhara area. Rather, they have the opportunity to relish the snow after conducting prayers at the shrine.
The devotees have thronged the area since early morning.
