Nepal, April 24 -- A fire broke out on a public bus in Dhungeadda Pipalbot, Chandragiri Municipality-15, Kathmandu, on Thursday.
According to the police, the fire has been brought under control.

The bus, (Ba Pra 03-01-005 Kha 9786) was traveling from Kalanki towards Thankot. The Thankot Police Circle said that the fire started due to a short circuit in the wires, which spread to the fiber.
The fire was brought under control with the help of the Chandragiri Municipality fire truck, local water tankers, the police, and the locals, approximately 20 minutes after it started. The bus was completely destroyed by the fire, but fortunately, there were no human casualties.
