KATHMANDU, April 9 -- The Permanent Mission of Nepal to the United Nations based in New York and the Mithila Festival in the United States jointly organized an exhibition entitled 'Art for SDGs: the Mithila Heritage' at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on Tuesday.

Welcoming the guests, Permanent Representative of Nepal to the United Nations Amrit Bahadur Rai highlighted the importance and relevance of Mithila art in the era of Sustainable Development Goals. The ambassador said that the event was organized to showcase the richness of the Mithila art and its utility in the implementation of SDGs.
