Nepal, March 6 -- The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation has issued a clarification letter to Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Managing Director Kulman Ghising, questioning why his appointment should not be revoked.
The letter cites four reasons: failure to submit the performance agreement on time, unauthorized signing of Nepal-India electricity exchange agreements, non-compliance with ministry directives, and negligence in fulfilling executive duties. The decision to seek clarification was made in Tuesday's Cabinet meeting.
