India, Nov. 12 -- Political parties participating in the upcoming National Assembly election must register for the polls between November 17 to 26, according to the Election Commission.As per the election schedule, approval of party registration and the distribution of election symbols will take place on November 30. The approved election program will be published in the Nepal Gazette on December 2.

The voter list (electoral college) will be finalized by December 20, and polling centers will also be determined on the same day.

The office of the election officer will be established on December 31. The election process will run from January 4 to 12, while campaigning will be allowed from January 12 to 22 .Voting will be held on January 25...
