Nepal, Feb. 4 -- The Election Commission (EC) has sought a clarification from Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) over the implementation of a new public health program after the enforcement of the Election Code of Conduct 2082 BS.
The EC wrote to the metropolis questioning its decision to begin providing basic health services door-to-door for citizens aged 70 and above after the code of conduct came into force.
According to the EC, audiovisual material containing remarks made by the acting mayor regarding the program was received, prompting the request for clarification.
