Nepal, July 1 -- A truck accident near the charging point at Ratamate, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-15 in Makwanpur, along the East-West Highway, claimed the life of the driver and left co-driver injured early Tuesday morning.

The coal-laden truck (registration number UP61AT 0962), en route from Varanasi, India, to Riddhisiddhi Cement Industry, met with an accident. According to Makwanpur District Police Office Spokesperson Shyamu Aryal, the driver-45-year-old Mahendra Yadav of Purania, Ghazipur district, India-died in the accident.
