KATHMANDU, March 17 -- Starting from this evening, businesses including discos, dohori venues, and live music venues in Pokhara will remain open all night.

The announcement was made by the Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pandey, during an event organized to declare Pokhara as the tourism capital of Nepal on Sunday.

He said that bars, restaurants, spas, grocery stores, and snacks shops in areas like Lakeside, Prithvi Chowk, Mahendrapul, and Chipledhunga in Pokhara will operate without interruption until one o'clock in the morning, following certain standards to be implemented from tonight.
