BAITADI, Oct. 29 -- Dengue infections have been increasing in Baitadi district, with 18 confirmed cases in the past three months, according to Jay Singh Badal, lab technician inspector at the District Health Office.

Data from the office show that eight cases were reported in Melau-li Municipality, six in Dasharathchand, three in Purchaudi, and one in Patan Municipality. No cases have been detected in other local levels. Last year, 106 dengue cases were recorded in the district.
