Nepal, May 8 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Thursday declined 12.04 points to close at 2,661.64 points.
According to stockbrokers, the secondary market performed adversely after the investors rushed to book their gains out of the escalated price of shares on Wednesday when the market index inclined more than 62 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,673.69 points and plunged to the day's low at 2,656.17 points within the first half an hour. The market went through a series of fluctuations before it hit the day's high at 2,687.39 points when 53 minutes remained for the trading. The market shed around 26 points in the remaining period before it closed for the day.
